Default 2010 Archer & Love River Trip

    Hi all

Again I have been slack and not posting stories as early as I should but good old work always gets in the way.

Here are some photos form my May trip to Weipa where I fished the Archer and Love rivers with some work colleagues. It was a great trip which helped me improve my lame PB’s for Barra to a slightly more respectable 88cm on the cast and a fat 99cm caught on the troll in the love river.

Nice fish C... Scenery is fantastic (from a fisho's perspective).
What sorta road is going up that way mate? Last I heard everything was still dirt track. That was a while ago tho.

The road to Weipa is good only about 400km of dirt left and every time i have done it, it has been good. This trip due to the limited time i had i decided to fly to Weipa so did not get to run the road this time.

Well done boys.. great photos.. I love it up that way.. was lucky enough to spend 4 weeks in Mapoon in august last year and hit the edward river on private station at easter this year.... Makes the fishing down here a little hard to handle when you first get back...

99cm of saltwater barra would have been fun as well......

    Thanks for the post

    Andy
