    Default Jack Attack

On Sunday morning Kirk and I decided to venture to a new spot that kirk had found and had good results from on previous trips. We were casting around some little surface lures and plastics. The results from our efforts were, kirk managed a nice little barra on a plastic, I lost a little barra as it threw the hooks, we both lost two tarpon, we lost 1 giant herring each and I managed to land a nice 55cm model. Most were on surface, lots of follows, it was very visual fishing.

That afternoon Kirk, Jack and I went to spot X to cast some lures. We fished it for a good few hours and in that time I managed to land two cracker jacks. A 60cm model on a surface lure and on my stradic 2500 and 2-4kg rod. The other jack was a 50cm fish, also on surface on my Ci4 1000 and my egrell 1-3kg, bit hard to believe but no word of a lie. I was thrilled, couldn’t believe that I got two in one session!!! These jacks were caught from brackish water. It was a great day fishing with some mates, hope for many more fishing trips like that.
P.S. Sorry for the white outs but it’s too good a spot to give out.

    Cheers,
    Dane.

Well done Dane! That's a horse of a jack you got that. Must have been plenty of fun on light gear too.
