    Yeah they are flighty buggers them Tarpon, and there is plenty of em in the Boyne too... Just gotta jam em as hard as ya can before they take off...

    Yeah Chew they are fine to catch and release but once ya get back and their slim dries its is very stinky we found???

    on ya dids. good fish to cross off the list mate. Just need a real one now
    bloody tarpon. jam em hard and get em in mate.

    CONGRATZ!! on the barra, a 1M+ fish too, what a great effort. I found with chasing tarpon the trick is to use as light as possible jig head like chewy said so they cant sake it out as easily and to use thinner profile plastics.... those 3" hollow belly flick baits in white are my lure of choice when chasing them.
    To much water to fish and not enough time......
