    Default Cold Caloundra

Went out this morning for a few hours. Bloody cold Glad the rain held off though.

Could only raise hits untill around 8am. Landed a few Trevs mostly small and some better size in the mix lots of small flatties around.

Going to do it all again tomorrow morning see how I go..

It was blowing everywhere else except this little patch which produced the most fish for the day . I am very glad it didn't rain though as I was not close to any of the bridges.

That little trev Smacked the crap out of the plastic. I was slowly hopping the minnow along the bottom and as I was about to lift up into the boat it just hammered it unexpectedly. Was alot of fun Trevs are way to much fun on 5lb.

I found a patch of small trevs with some good size GT's following the lure in but swimming away at the last second. Still a fun morning none the less.

Went up bells creek to find some flatties, nothing huge alot of just undersize fish. I managed to hook upto a very decent one but it threw the hook. Never had a flathead take so much line so quickly.

Not really sure it had all the signs of a flattie but just alot of power. I felt the suttle grab and just had dead weight and slight headshakes for about 5meters. Then it just peeled line like no tomorrow then gone.

Only ever catching one wild Jew I wouldn't have a clue how they fight.
