Line testing around Peel

The main line is doubled - wrapped 3 times around the leader before bending (doubling) the the leader before comencing 4-5 wraps down & back ......... then you pass the looped main line between the 2nd initial wrap & the leader before pulling it up & triming the leader tag & the double main line tag and single main line tag
This locks the tags

Seems very strong.

I used the 6lb Nanofil today with 8lb leader......I had that horrible 'Chattering'through the runners when casting which I absolutely hate....Harros knot doesnt seem any finer than the standard albright however...????

Pete .....How long did you leave the leader tag ? I virtually cut it flush with the last wrap - that reduces the chattering .

no , the knot is no slimmer than an improved albright but it is strong & secure

I havent given your knot a go yet Chris.....I can tie it all ok though and will make mono tag flush for tomorrow

I was using the standard improoved albright today and with the fresh line I had the chattering....I think there is more of a tendancy for this to happen with new line too...?....as it softens a little it seems to ease up.
