Hi Scott,
I had a similar day up the Susan on saturday. Nothing in the morning but then....Flattys around 60cm, and bream in the 30+ range, all started biting on the low tide.
cheers
Andrew
How far up the Susan where you Andrew ? I find the last of the run out & firts hour of the run in is the best period as well.

Not far up at all. I was near the moored boats by the 2 islands. the fish schooled up in deeper water about 8-10ft deep on low tide. I tried working near the mangroves in shallow water on high tide, but nothing really biting until low tide.
I hear some big bream to 40cm have been taken on the ramps by LB boys near the barge.

Cheers Andrew - I am still looking for the home of the BIG one ......
