Default Not so great a trip

Well, with the forecast up in the air,i was going fishing then i wasn't,then i still wasnt, and at the last minute decided to go for a look and have a look at a few new places. Went and looked for a flatty in the places we have been getting them, and didnt spook one, So looked in some new areas, and also didnt spook one. I think i have missed them and they have moved to spawn,so will go looking there next trip. Anyway, after running up a mudbank and nearly having a heart attack pushing the boat off,i proceeded to catch a couple of Bream and managed to drop one after it spiked my hand, resulting in it landing upside down on my foot, with its long spike going in beside my toe and coming out half an inch below( see pic) I never really liked Bream, and this hasnt helped. I did see a lot of whiting while using the electric and in the end managed to get a nice little Grunter on the S1,as well as a few small jew and a couple of tarpon. I have renewed my love for Slider grubs..they just seem to be working for me at the moment. Using 15lb schneider leader atm,as im fishing some Trees with barnacles, and doesnt seem to be affecting the hookup rate. Till next time...

I also couldnt find a single flatty on Sat Chewy. I threw plastics into all the usual spots for not a touch. They must have gone into hiding? I found a few spots out of the weather in the Susan. Got a few chopper tailor and small mackeral.

    cheers
