    Default Up the creek

With the warm northerly winds today decided to go up the top of the river this arvo with a mate to try for a jack.
didnt take long to hook a fish which ended up being a 43cm bass.
i ended up getting another smaller bass and my mate Simon ended up with 5 bass. i was using a cultiva mira shad and simon had a shallow diver.
Near the end i hooked up on a popper and thought it could be a better fish. it got me into the timber a couple times but manged to get it out and a nice little 42cm jack pops up. was stoked to get what we came for.
Got lucky this arvo using 6lb braid and 12lb leader had my heavier gear but didnt need it.

Nice Shaun, did you have a jig in that 12 metre hole up on the bend in that first pic?
Where the dead tree hangs out half way over the creek.
    All rock bottom up there.
