James was that u fishing just up from the walls camp boat ramp at about 2 oclock throughing a castnet i came past with my other half and daughter and dog

Pete, sounds like me mate, I had the other half and little bloke in the boat, and did pull out the ole cast net for a few rusty attempts for live bait as the lures were doing no good. cast net only got mullet that were way to big. A donut being shaped like a big fat zero = hence caught nothing in the way of Barra. Going back this weekend - have to get a couple (one at least) before end of month.

good stuff pete. might catch up for a beer next month. shame there will be no barra burgers though. maybe a thready burger will have to do mate washed down with a few sherberts

Nerdy - for the record straight rod's ($100 bargain bear) tally was 1 flathead, 3 cod, 2 barra to the boat (both bigger than yours!) and jumped 2 others off. Had a great day with me old mate!
