Default My jackoff practice/ explore from this morning

Went out with a mate to a little spot I hadnt been too nor did I realise It went so far. I wasn't fishing too seriously with only a 2-4 stick with a 10lb braid/leader combo I was surely to get smashed :P. I cruised up around the lake for about an hour just eyeing off the snags that would be covered at high tide for future reference. Then we started drifting around. I had quite a good few smacks and a couple hooking up for all of 2 seconds before the hooks pulled. I managed to stick to one little guy which I was happy with as its my first for the new season. I threw a few more casts slow rolling the dropbear fish through the snags and got absolutely hammered and was cleaned up in all of 5 seconds oops... Should of brought the heavier gear.

We pulled a fair few flathead from the brackish, Biggest going around 54cm.

Good work Adam, weather permitting, I'll be doing another recon trip tomorrow for preparation.

Good to see a few getting around.

ah, that wasnt me then, I was in my Hornet.
How was that wind, blow a kiwi off the dole it was puffing that hard at times, made working hard bodies in the lay downs "ïnteresting" to say the least, and then it rained on me on the way home!
