Hi guys, Sound like you had more luck than us. I was at the Gregory with James@Harveybay on Sunday and windy, Saw you in the white poly as we were moving toward the mouth from up river. We got some flathead, Cod, leather jacket, stingrays and massive gold toad fish that distroyed my new $29 plastic lure. James got (2) jacks, his first jack (40cm) on a Z-man plastic. Would have stopped you for a chat and to meet if new the boat, we were in a black Blue Fin 435. I'm sure James will post some pics. chat soon.
Hi Greg, pretty sure that was one of my mates,i havent heard how he went. We were at Noosa at the Jackoff...Nice going on the jacks though..

I think Barradise (Greg) aka. snag-a-lot got a little excited about fishing in a river he thinks was named after him that he forget to look at the start date for this thread. But yea we had a an average to good weekend fishing the Burrum and the Gregory - will post a detailed report later tonight or tomorrow night. Mind you the wind this weekend was comparable with the weekend in question which lately is not hard - wind, wind and more wind - when is it going to stop??? I suppose it leaves more fish for us dedicated fishos with the casual fishos staying home in front of the box watching I-Fish and other fishy shows that us keen blokes have to record for mid week after work viewing.
