Took the heavy gear down to see if I could find the jacks that cleaned me up last week. Only found one little guy but gave himself a bit of a tussle for his size. I threw the perfect cast into a big bank/rock slide within a few turns on the handle the fish smashed the lure and had me singing decent jack! Gave me quite a tussle in between snags and rocks then it swam to the middle and gave me all it had it finally gave in and up came Mr GT. Not what I was expecting this far down river but still gave me a run for its money!. 4' hollowbellies got all the action today.
