Still no Jacks, but....

Ive been fishing a local creek hard for the last 2 days, hard.. After work, before dinner, during the day. I have lost numerous hollow bellies and some other plastics i got recommended, as im new to the whole soft plastic fishing, i take all the advice i can get. Yesterday yielded nothing, walked along the banks at low tide casting into the deepish channel. Today, with the weather shit, i thought id head down to the creek once again. About 1000 casts went by, then all of a sudden got a good whack and straight into the rocks it went. After a little battle, out came a nice little cod. I was stoked. Another half hour I called it quits.

Got a call from a mate to head back down there. Got down there for another crack, and he dropped a little flatty on the bank. The wind was howling down there, so we thought we would go for another venture. We found a beautiful little spot which produced another little cod, and 2 flattys which both got air born and spat the hooks. But, as for plastics, im pumped, and ill be heading out there again tomorrow morning. Still no jacks, but I still had a blast. Ill keep on trying though.

chris,is its really snaggy do a search on here from Aaron Gilmour about rigging the snapback shads on a worm hook with a small ball sinker in front ....it does cut down on snags iv found.

It did go well, although, it may of went harder if i was using the 6lb braid, but it would of been a lost battle id say. Ive found a good spot for us to go to ben.
