Well done all,Steve I though you caught the jack at the drop of a hat......Oh sorry I misunderstood, I could have turned up after all.............
Well just got back from Coolangatta surf club, great meal, on my last Stones green ginger beer after a couple of schooners of gold and feeling pretty good.

    Yeah NICE threadie.

    Super by-catch that one.

Be hard to knock Dids off his perch though.....I saw him nail a flattie as by-catch.

    Thanks all.

One think that really impressed me was the health of that river. In general it was in top shape and we saw all sorts of wild life from eagle rays, to heaps of bait fish to eagles and kites to backpackers in bikinis to big unstoppables that were too far good for us.

What I didn't like was those that struggled with the concept of '6 knot, No wash zone'.

Also thanks to all thoses that actually answered their mobiles at 11pm to Darryl in top form. Man, I laughed hard that night.
Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
