burrum ramps?

was on the google earth today and scanning up the burrum ,had trouble finding regular ramps up the system i have launched from burrum heads itself and gone up around 3 k but how many ramps are accsessable up further ?

I've used a small ramp located on the Northside between the mouth and Howard. Also one at Howard as well I believe. Haven't fished there for years now so cannot comment on current condition of either ramp. Some nice fish in there.

Hi Al,one is located on Power house road,howard, and the other is mid way down the river,at Wals camp. You can google it via Boat Ramp Pacific Haven Circuit. There is also one at Buxton,but it would be a bit of a drive for you..Hope that helps

What's the go with the ramps on the south side of the Burrum, I have noticed about 3 that look ok and one in particular a concrete ramp that looks good. Are they private ramps? It would save me a good half hour if I didn't have to go around.

Just go to the ramp at Howard, I got a jack not far from there last weekend (bridges - hint hint !!) and a shore based fellow I spoke to whilst gettint the boat out caught one at the ramp itself. Just beware of the no fishing area just past the Hwy bridge, there is a sign about 500m past the bridge on the right hand side.
