    8lb leader....It very nearly wore through too.

    During the fight I could feel (what I realised once landed) was the leader rubbing on the two prominant teeth on the bottom Jaw of the fish.
    I backed the drag off even more during the fight which was just as well as I think the fish would have worn through that leader.

    That's one of the best Trevally shots I've seen in a while Pete. Nice pic.

    When Big W had the Frenzy poppers on sale for $3.78 each, I bought the whole lot! 16 I think I ended up buying. Still got a heap in their boxes.

    Great fish on 6lb mate, goes to show you don't need dear lure's to catch fish.

    Definitely great fun and good sport on 6lb. Even more so on 8lb leader. I got bitten off on 20lb leader/8lb main yesterday and the Gt's were only 55cm. Congrats.
