I actually got the Halco's out of the packet to put on the lure B, but were a bit too wide for the eyelets on the lure, so I opted for another brand which I can't remember what they are called. Only know they are made in the USA.

Couldn't help myself this arvo after dreaming about red coloured fish the past couple of nights. I needed to squish my curiosity and had an early mark at work with the kayak strapped down, ready to go. I found myself hooked up to another Jack on surface which was an awesome spectacle after only being on the water for all of 15 minutes. Unfortunately for the rest of the afternoon I didn't get another hit, however there was plenty of action from bait scattering across the surface.

Yeah mate! I've been keeping out of the fresh down here just because of the over murky water and have been fishing places which drain and filter the run off before entering the creeks.
