Afternoon with daz

Hi all here a small report

HAd a fish with darryl in the Maroochy yesturday chasing a red devil but they where out to play where we where but got a few fish to keep us intrested all whee taken on live bait . tried luring for a bit but after the hundredth boat when past gave that up .

Of course we caught the catfish birgrade but got 2 nice flattys for a feed and darryl land a nice trevally also for a feed . Water temp was well down compared to 4 days earlly so may have been why the jacks where in hiding and of course a billion skis and jet ski to annoy the crap out of ya . Had a good time and good company look forward to next time with daz .
Oh and it was his first ride in the getaway but ill let him give you his thoughts

Not wrong about busy ski boats , wake board boats , jet skis and the odd fisherman flying by can make it a tad frustrating when ya want calm waters for lure casting .

Yeh got away in the get away.

It was a worry when I got to the ramp and saw Nip standing there with no hand or rope on the bloody Get Away, it was just sitting there ready to get away.

Well I was impressed with the boat its gets up and boogies and rides real nice. Very comfortable little boat, quite and stable. Like a little skeeter but without all the gay trims, which is a good thing when you see the amount of mud and crap Nip throws over the boat and crew when using the bloody cast net.

Then necks the Trev and sprays blood everywhere Yer tha barsard!

THe trevally part was funy when i started to bleed the fish i didnt notice the littel stream shooting out from the side it got me first and then i swung around and it got darryl
Funny stuff comes out in the wash (I Hope)
I like darryls new rod the Tcurve seem to handle the trevally with ease

the weekend is a good time to get up the creeks for a look , away from the skiers and jets.....yer the bastards.

got a feed, alls good, and no injuries ... just dont let daz put a mud crab in the boat nip, he prolly hasnt learnt his lesson yet..
