Default Who said pooring rain is no fun!

Headed out this morning If it was raining or not... I ended up achored under a bridge for around 2 hours waiting for the rain to stop. Was not stopping in a hurry so I just risked it and got drenched sun came out and so did the smiles .

Things were still slow though with a little moses and a dropped bream for the first hour or so. Rigged up a little 2.5" monster Miki to give a whirl and a solid thud and a few massive head shakes later. The flatty took a liking to pink was very heart in mouth though as I was only running 4lb leader for the ol bimbos. Things were looking up from there and the bream turned it on for some good fun on the light gear. we pinned a heap of bream most of them putting up a good fight for there class. I threw into a school of around 20 bream cruising and hooked the biggest one there. Was fighting like a true champ and then it threw the hooks Bugger! would of been a PB for sure.

    Anyway Few pics

I just realised I forgot to mention one rod had 30lb leader on it. It very well could of been a hairtail but 3/3 was a pretty bad run. I had a few rods with me for a few occasions 4,10,30lb and bang all gone in a matter of seconds lol

Usually less people out in the rain to hassle you and if there's no wind it can be tranquil.

Love the side on shot of the Flatty.
