    Going to try and put up with the other holiday makers and go fishing around Noosa area next week, hows it been? Mainly chasing Jack and Jew landbased

    How's it been?....Busy.

    Fish nights, there's been some good Jacks caught at night last 2 weeks.

    check out the noosa fishing website mate. they put a report up every monday. some good jacks up there last week.

    Cheers, any specific techniques? Im really keen on a Jew, don't get the 'Mulloway' up here, so keen to knock another species off the list

    Noosa is sort of average if you're after a Jew. The system is fairly shallow and calm so not the best Jew grounds. Might get some Soapies.

    It's not a big system either so it doesn't take many people to make it feel busy. Hit the mid-upper reaches. Jacks aren't the biggest fan of crystal clear water unless it's dawn, dusk or night.

    i think your best chance for a jack or jew land based would be around any of the bridges after dusk and before dawn with live bait.
    had a go up the river today for a jack but was very quiet.

    Cool, going to be staying near Noosa sound, there are a few bridges there from memory, getting keen
