Goldy Quick One

Late report. Made a last minute run to the Goldy last weekend, wasnt a bad one considering we didnt get a bait in the water til 12, nailed a freak canal gh early on that hit hard and kept going and going, then made the move to find a few jacks before sun up. Came up trumps with my mates first jack, a easy 50cm+ fish that came from throwing a unweighted 10cm mullet into the gnarly stuff, smashed it four times each time missing the hook up and watching in awe as he came up tight on the fifth go. Fight was as brutal as they get, and wont forget the look on his face as i lifted him up onto the bank. Pure gold. Missed several other epic hook ups that lasted all of a few seconds, went quiet and made a last move, managed to feed a live biddy to a smaller unit before calling it a night.

Was pretty devo with no solid measurements to go along with these units, always manage to leave my brag mat in a mates car when i need it most.

top fish boys,fat lookin jack... had a mullet turn a jack inside out like that last year, doin circles, jack had 4 boofs at it, got it on the 5th and popped leader on hook set..was pissen meself, ..didnt care bout missin the fish...to funny..
