Hi
Couple of photos from the Daly and Roper Rivers a couple of weeks ago.
A big croc up beside the boat on the Daly.
A good sized redclaw vs a cherabin ( minus the body which we ate) on top of a 44 gallon (205 litre) fuel drum at Roper River camp. If using this cherabin as live bait u wouldn't need a hook. Just tie a rope around the cherabin and it would grab any barra that happened to pass by.
A good sized barra taken off a rockbar in the Hodgson River ( tributary of Roper).
Go up every year for barra nationals on Daly and then go across to Roper. Got back last week.
regards
Rocky Ron
