Default Seems to be a first for everything day

Today was my first day fishing after a few weeks of bad weather. Teaming up with dane and his father for a quick fish in the morning to get my first footage with the GoPro Hero 2 which i was really happy about but i need another spare battery as it does not want to last long at all.... First spot we were targeting bream on plastics which i've never got one on a plastics, Dane seem to be hogging all the fish but then i got my FIRST bream on plastics! wasnt a big one maybe 25-29cm( didnt take photo just threw it back) move on to another area to hope for some flathead. Once again dane is still not sharing the fish with 60+cm flathead hitting the deck. got quite again and moved off. Finally this spot was much better for me with a 63cm flathead on the dropbear wriggler 110mm. Sadly it did not last long so we moved off again was a quite day and the fish bites were spread out during the hours. Dane hooked up to a grunter going 43cm i think =s and his dad lost something bigger. The drop bear wasnt working so i changed to a lobby hoping for something because the sounder was lighting up with fish underneath us. Not long after whack with a major run peeling line off my reel, i had no idea what it was but dane gave a rough guess of a salmon. After it had gone around the boat it started to tire off not long after it was in the net and on the deck. Very nice looking GT which is also my very FIRST Qld GT caught on my 1-3kilo lox. Did a few more drifts with only 2 smaller flathead caught then went for home about midday.

    FIRST
    -fishing in weeks!
    -using the GoPro
    -being in a poly
    -getting bream on plastic
    -getting QLD GT

Dane has photos of his flatheads/breams
was a good day thats for sure =)

    Cheers JT

Nice fish JT. Good report. Out of interest, how long does the battery last on the Gopro?

well it says on the site about 2.5 hours running on 980 but i'm unsure as i turned it off and on all the time started about 6-7 and fishing close to 10.

    ordered this on ebay
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/261073051...ht_3917wt_1396

which fit the go pro and have 1400 mAh more then the stranded go pro battery which is only 1100 mAh. Also you get 2 for almost the price of a normal go pro battery. 3 batterys should last me well as a 32gb is only meant to be 4 hours of filming time
