Hey Guys.
I thought I'd report about the great fishing I've had from the Brisbane River recently. In the past week me and a few mates have landed 150+ Bream, over 40 Estuary Cod, a 30cm G.T. and 2 small Moses Perch from the Brisbane River, landbased along the Hamilton Reaches on Ecogear SX40's.
One morning was so glassed out the Bream were up on the surface and absolutely smashing Smith's Towadi's with gutso. We also managed to sight cast a few, including the biggest Bream with SX40's.
The fish arn't big. The biggest Bream landed has only been 27cm fork and Cod 38cm. But they have been thick and fast. I wish we had those chunky Black Bream up here.
Cheers, Troy
