Just crossed the main bridge and checked out the boat ramp, then back across Tallon bridge, hardly any traffic, so I wasn't in anyones way.

The approaches and carparks are bad.
See where someone's house used to be.
And tons of sand has washed down river and covered mud upriver of Tallon n Br.
Poor buggers, second time in 2 years.

Having just got back from 4 days around the Bundy region doing flood recovery work, it has been pretty sobering seeing the damage around Nth Bundy, but also around Baffle, Kolan and the many other little creeks and gullies. A lot of damage and wrecked dreams/lives. The house in the middle of the road between the two bridges on the northside is confronting. Lots of work to be done. The drive around Maryborough, Gympie and Mary Valley shows a lot of similar issues, but not to the same extent. Been a long 8 day's travelling.
Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
