    Default broadwater gold coast

G'day g'day . yesterday afternoon I received a text message from a mate dan asking if I was keen for a fish , of course I was and I suggested we hit the broadwater (something I haven't done in a long time ) we launched the boat next to seaworld and were on the water at 230, conditions were awesome , no wind and alot of cloud cover . As we past the spit the birds were working and bait was shimmering on the surface , 1000s of little white bait , though we didnt bother stopping as there were plenty of other boats around and wanted to get to our spot , we finally arrived and conditions looked great , plenty of bait and arches on the sounder . . I wont bore you with each indidvidual fish but it turned out to be a great afternoon especially for dan .. we pulled 6 species before sun down ... Tarpon , jewfish , Moses perch , a weird flathead if anyone can ID , tarwhine and bream .. I'll leave you with some pics of a really great afternoon

Nice work bud. Condition look superb. That tarpon would have given Dan plenty of fun.
I go fishing not to find myself but to lose myself...

Hey Glenn , it was dans 2nd tarpon ever so he was pretty Syked .. They popped there head up right on the high tide , as soon as the blade landed it was engulfed . Plenty of jumps .. The blade was quite deep so tarpon stayed on luckily ..

That's it mate , it's like a dusky flathead but with more armor and bulgy eyes
