    Default PB Bream at Peel...

I ditched work (again) so Kyle & I could hit Goat & Peel Islands on the afternoon/evening incoming tide on Friday.

We worked hard along the reef edge at Goat for one small bream, a medium tailor and a heap of big pike. As we could not locate any snapper, we decided to try some breamin' over the weed beds at Peel.

On arrival we could see schools of hardiheads being smashed in the shallows. First drift saw me lose a good fish that buried me in the weed before Kyle also got a good hit that turned out to be a chunky 38cm snapper.

Another 100m and I got another good hook-up but very little fight, so I was surprised when Kyle slid the net under my PB bream! He went 36cm to the fork...

A few more drifts saw Kyle get another couple of small bream and an undersize snapper. The northerly picked up so we headed home in the fading light. A pretty poor session for us, saved by my bream PB.

    Where have the snapper gone?

    Cheers

    Pete

well done on the PB. That first pick of the bream shows some a nice healthy fish.

When you find out where the snapper got to let me know aye?
