Elimbah Creek 07-09-13

G'day guys,
Hit Elimbah Creek this morning at dawn with Raefpud for about 7 hours fishing.
Talk about tough!!
Raef sco9red fisrt of all after about 2 hours with a bream about 35-38cm then about an hour later with a flatty about 45. Both those went back to grow some more.
worked our way upstream about 3 miles or so and didnt get another bite so we hi-tailed it to the mouth for a flatty drift, A being the correct adjective, not another bite.
Headed back up the river to the crab pots and worked the last 800m or so of creek to foam for my effort of two 45cm and one 30cm flathead.
Pulled the pots for exercise and pulled the pin.
There is basically no baitfish or prawns in the creek.....no food = no fish.

There is always next time they say........Tomorrow im on the water again with Gaz, maybe he can teach this old dog new tricks???
