G'day all, fortunately this Xmas break unlike others, I've managed to get out a few times fishing. The catching bit has been a bit slow but yesterday had a few odds and sods come over the side. I've also been playing with my gopro I got a few weeks ago on the last couple of trips, but until yesterday didn't have any actual fish to film. So, I had been fishing away, with only a small grunted and a decent bream, did the "one last cast" and hooked up along a steep bank! The fish started pulling pretty strongly and I was thinking a good sized flattie, but after a bit of back and forth, finally got a glimpse of a nice threadie! I was getting pretty nervous at this stage as I've been wanting one of these for a while and I was only running a 12lb leader and 6lb lineLuckily, it was perfectly hooked in the corner of the mouth! Got it to the boat, it just went in the net and into the boat! I was stoked! And all caught on the gopro too, so after a fair bit of stuffing around, got it edited, uploaded and hopefully the link is right here. 1st attempt at all this, so apologies if it's a bit rough
