    Default Quick Flick

had a docs appt this morning n had rest of the day off so snuck in a quick solo flatty sesh up the creek. The southerly and small high made it tough to find a sheltered area to fish with any water. After a bit of searching around I managed to start getting a bit of interest tucked in behind an island and started to boat a few small flatties. Positioned myself between a couple trees and sat there for the next hour or so catching almost a fish per cast, just no size to them. Eventually ran outta water and had to leave with just 1 keeper but had a lot of fun. Had a short drift down hayes inlet and dropped a very nice fish at the boat on a deadsticked rod. Dont think ive chased a flatty since the forage so was nice to get into a couple again.

Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
