Big fella and I snuck out at sparras today to check out a couple new spots for the flatty forage. Bit of a scientific approach with moon, tide, sunrise, wind and a few other secret calculations taken into account. We knew we had the ability - we just hoped that we could crack the code and turn this flatty fishing business into the simple process that it should be.
Well it worked well. We caught fish right from the first cast. Gotta love it when a plan works. Stopped counting after 4 because they were coming so thick and fast. Probably caught 20 or 30 before we got too tired to catch any more. Shane used Nipsta's jig heads to great effect.
Storage space on the camera ran out so I can only post a few random photos of the 50 or 60 that we caught. Maybe 70.
Bring on the Forage. Hope the calculations work again - maybe - maybe not. You know how scientific science can be at times.
