Just a quick report. I had no work on this week so decided to do a sneaky to the Straits. Drove up to Maaroom Tuesday morning for the high tide at about 12.30pm. Weather was beautiful but fishing was slow. Had to check all MY secret locations ot make sure the locals hadn't been pillaging them, So started at the Rubber plantation, where things were dead so slept the night and moved on to see the German about a dog, things weren't much better but did keep my interest, slept again, pulled the pots and headed to the "Trout Ledge" made my presents known, and headed home. Well I said it would be a quicky.
One nice Grunter, 1/2 dozen small cod, 1/2 dozen bream, 1 coral trout, 1 small trevally , 1 55cm flathead, an array of pests, no crab.
