    Default Tinging the local

Had word the Whiting are on in the Caboolture river, woke up at 3.30 could not sleep so headed off launched in the dark had prawns skipping every where in the spottie, set up on a bank to fish till daylight for a undersized bream and a pony fish,
once light I moved down bakers flat a bit further was kept busy by under sized fish managed one legal fish at 26 cm then it went dead till turn of the tide,
as soon as the tide turned to run out the fish came out to play I caught 8 fish in 10 minutes then the run got fierce and I started getting a fish every 10 minutes or so in the end I landed about 15 legal fish so turned into a good morning.

There’s a lot to be said about a fisherman who knows when to fish his local for results, good feed mate

Most of these were resident river fish flushed down from upstream a few weeks back dark around the fins but most were rowed up they will now hang around for 3 or 4 months

Now, I'm not saying we should invoke capital punishment for Stupidity, but how about we just take all the warning labels off everything and let nature sort itself out?
