    Default Out and about in Gladstone

    Been fish8ng the local reef systems up here not going far getting a few flags ect,
    so went and brought an Epirb so I can travel a bit further a field,
    took Ben for a run on the weekend in the fog and mist ect we managed a feed of tuskies and cod ect,
    this morning was looking not to bad on the forcast so decided to do my first run up to Rundle island 34 Klm away. We got out the front and breeze was not to bad but was getting rather bumpy by the time we got to the island.I took a young fella out from up here
    we managed a good feed of tuskies,flag,Hussar,nannigi and school mackerel plus a heap of under stuff in clouding 3 red emperor one that’s was tagged about a month ago at 43 and was now 47 cm ,we also got a heap of undersize snapper ect it was non stop for 3 hours with a lot of fish released

    Good to see a plan come together. Those hussar will go down well. I rate them higher than the stripies.

    Slowly nutting it out wish the weather forecasters would get it a right or at least be the same not one 7 knots and another 15 kn

    Dad reckons fishing is 10% brains and 95% muscle, the rest is just good luck.
