    cheers guys,
went down yet again today and caught a few of the usual tings, bream, cod and flatty, realy good fun because we realy been chasin them jacks and all we catch is cod, joel had fun extracting a decent one around 36cm on 4lb baitcasting gear. we got 2 double hook ups too, as soon as one fish gets hooked all the others just go mad!! jeez we've been goin through some gulp but, they melt in our bags in the heat and come off and soon as they see a fish mate, used about 4 bags in 3 hours!!

check out this front that come through after mum picked us up!

    tight lines.

    Question

Heyah Try Hard, nice work with the bream gear mate. Do you trim the back treble feather of the poppers?

yer mate, just bring it back to its level with the bend in the hook, also just make a few random cuts in the feathers to thin em out, help a lot with ya casting distance.

Some nice fish there Tryhard, and that looks like one decent storm on its way.
It's not about the fish, it's about fishing!
