Awesome fish Jeff, well done!!....I have seen some thumping Jacks over the years (North Queensland, Northern Territory & Cape York) but I must admit, the Jacks that I have seen come out of that South East Queensland recently have blowen me away!! Its not often that we catch hoooaaa's like that on a regular basis like you guys have been!!

& an awesome job also for releasing that great fish!! I love ya work!!

Yeah it's been a great Jack season so far down here. Still plenty of time left yet as well.

I know of a 61cm Jack caught and released last week on a popper. He also got a 57cm in the same session!!!

Shame the Jacks were not playing when we were around - this is what I ended up doing when the fish were not biting.....

I would of love to of got stuck into some big Jacks.

Actually the bloke i was talking too down at the ferry advised he caught his Jacks on big Tassie Devils being trolled slowly....

Ahhhhh its a dead cockroach holding a fishing road!!

Thanks for that Jeff - its very unusual to catch Jacks that size up here in our Estuaries, as they have normally moved out to the reef by them time there at that size...You guys are very very lucky!
