Well there is no doubting its length which is 105cm so if anyone could find an average size on a GT that long it would be good. I'm certain it was at least 12kg. That offshore one we boated last year we estimated at around 30-35kg and at 12kg that's only about 1/3 the size of that beast and it just didn't feel that small. They definitely pack on the weight when they get big though.
If you had a size chart I'd imagine it would be fairly accurate. GT's are one of those fish that don't really vary in weight of a fish the same size. What I mean is you don't see obese ones and starving ones. Some maybe slightly bulkier or less bulkier then others across the shoulders but not by massive amounts like you can see on other species.
And Pete, who says you need Nomad to catch Nomad style GT's :P . I guess if you put the size of the fish in ratio to the gear I used then I guess that means I could land a Longtail off the rocks on a Stradic 1000 :P , haha!
