Either Paul or Bargy, Didley but its a case of being in the right spot at the right time. Both of those guys will do their very best to put you on to one.Could be looking at around $400 though.

Fitzroy is a pretty good thing dids. Just before the bounty would be a good option. i need to get some footage from up there soon, so if ya kken we might be able to sort somethin.
Barramag; Who is this Bargy you guys mention, a local guide?
C Vermin, that sounds interesting, do I get to keep my clothes on for the shoot? Talk to me when U know more, Thanks.

Bargy is the man too see altho due to the slaughter of heaps of big girls over the last 2 years numbers are way down i havent got a good salty for over a year i will have to put in alot of hours over summer to find them again
Catch them photoghraph them throw them back
I don't know why they keep the big girls Nath. They should be released out of respect for getting to that size. They don't taste a good as one around 80-85 anyway.Be sad to think they end up in a dustbin somewhere.

Hey Dids,
Id also like to catch a salty barra, but havent seen one since I moved here. Ive heard of a few 65-70cm in the Burrum upriver after the rain pushes em over the wall at Lenthalls. Chewy and Nath are on the money, barra are rare and very hit or miss round here. A guide will only be a 50/50 bet at best.
Still, if you wanna get a guide, I will go you halves on the trip.........
thats if the guides are willing to show us where the barra are. They might not wanna do barra anymore. PM me if you want a loan of the dvd, its very good.
Did you see my winter jack? Caught one last fri nite First one in winter.
cheers
Andrew
Just looking at a map, the inside of Curtis Island, north of Gladstone looks like interesting water. I believe they call it "The Narrows", is it a good destination to chase Barra / Jacks or is there better.
Advice greatly appreciated. Dids
