    Default Thank god for spring

a 003.jpgWith northerlies starting thought id give a couple of my spots a try for a jack or two. First spot got a couple of small trevs and with the tide starting to slacken of i tied on a 4 inch hollow belly and sunk the lure under a tree it got belted hard and the fish came straight to the surface and soon after a nice little barra lay on the floor. at 60cm he was well condtioned a quick pic and back in. A few casts later and i was on again this one was a little bigger and had me in all sorts of troubles. but soon he was in the boat at 79cm he was a nice fish a quick pic and back in. A couple more trevs and a big tarpon that engulfed the hollow belly . I also jaged a herring on a three inch prong . No jacks but i wasnt complaning. till next time.a 002.jpg
