Hey guys,
The Pioneer River is starting to get a bit clearer now so I decided on trying my luck for a feed of muddies (before the 20inches we are supposed to get in teh next few days). Got these 11 beauties. Also attached is a pic of Dumbleton weir in all her glory from a few weeks ago. The weir usually stands 12m above the downstream riverine section, but with all the rain, it came almost level. I have written another article for Januarys edition of NQ Fish and Boat on this crabbing trip
