Here's a saltwater barramundi that we recently caught while casting a Rapala X-Rap to a mangrove lined edge.
This fish appeared to have had it's tail bitten off by a larger predator - most likely a big shark. The bite looked clean cut which indicated that a very sharp toothed species did the damage.
The wound had healed well and it's amazing to see it still hunting for food and continuing to survive!
