    Default Noosa over the w/e

I had a mate come up from Sydney over the weekend and he also brought a mate of his too.

Craig and I played the guides for the weekend and we fished pretty dam hard to tell you the truth. We really wanted them to walk away with some nice fish but it was really hard going.

My mate Timmy snared himself a very nice Tarpon up between the lakes but the Jacks were very very hard to find.
Given this we decided to fish some night time sessions also and Saturday night we went to some landbased possies where Ben (Tims mate) scored an awesome 53cm Jack.He was pretty stoked with this.

There are also some pretty chunky Tea-leaf Trevally cruising the river and I got a very nice one late last week just before the boys arrived.

    Cheers,
    Pete

Yup.....The nets have been working overtime.

I wonder just how many they get in their nets.

We all know jacks move around at night so I suspect they get heaps along with everything else.

That Jack do a bit of dirty dancing Pete, looks like he picked up some scuffs from the structure?
Nice red fish land based, I'd kill for some of that action in down town Woody point

ahhh, my aging eyes, I'd still kill for a land based jack spot in Reddy, or lightly maim for a spot that held clean sand
