Sorry to see Renno off his game, only 8.5 cartons He probably would have gone through more if Steve could have stayed awake
Great way to spend your birthday!

    Hi all

Yep, it was an absolutely awesome trip.......great company with Chris and Stavros and some new country for me to explore. It was a pleasure to get out on the water just to get away from them damn midgies. I took a course of B1 (no....not beer lol) and Fexo 180 and even Lignocaine (sic) but they still found a way to attack my extremities.

I think the secret is not to wear our normal fishing style shirts with the mesh openings....it is like a dinner bell for them.

Aside from that it was a thoroughly enjoyable trip with a few cool bevvies thrown in for rehydration purposes only

Thank heavens for Chris' Sydney bream technique to keep the fish tickin along. I got a few fish but Naggsy kicked my butt.

Baffle was great....tiger country everywhere with those gibbers. I would not ever contemplate taking the Chariot there.

I will throw some photos up soon.

    Cheers
    Paul

OK Shane ..... you'll get an invite for the next Curtis trip

    Picture the attire

Crocks with socks , long pants & long sleeve shirts , buffs , sun gloves , hats & the obligatory amounts of industrial strength insecticides.
I made the fatal mistake of going for a nature stop in the middle of the night in just my jocks ( besides not being a good look) - I got absolutely smashed in the 60 seconds outside of the haven .
Anyhoos - the offer will be extended

    Chris
