    great going dave ,do you target the salmon in the drains or schooling fish out in the open ?

    Either or, however on this occasion these fish were found in a straight 300m stretch along the creek that has numerous rock bars . Sounded them up and initially caught on soft vibes then rest caught trolling the Squirrel. Could have caught them all day I reckon and I lost count of how many Blue's I got along with the 12 Threadies. Dropped a couple of rat Barra also so it was a great session. Smaller tides, less run allowed for the fish to just cruise around all day without fighting normal tidal flow. Was only a 3.8m high with a 2.0m low

    huh. You’ve discovered the 1.8m run for Mackay creeks, it’s the magic number up there mate.
    As with real estate, Fishing is all about Location Location Location
