Hi everyone,

Time for a little introduction of BMG Marine Services. My name is Shane Clow, I am the Director of Benchmark Marine Group which is the BMG in the trading name.

BMG Marine Services was started in October 2007. It has 2 employees, Kylan who is my second year apprentice and myself a fully qualified Marine Mechanic. I have been in this industry (bar for a 12month spell) from when I started doing school based work experience in 1990. I have been fortunate enough to of worked in many different positions in Marine industry from being a apprentice threw to head mechanic, as well as a stint in sales in wholesale and retail.

After the last 17 years of working in all areas I decided that where I originally started out was what I would like to continue doing! Being a Marine Mechanic hence BMG Marine Services was formed mid last year and came into full activity in October 2007.

BMG Marine Services covers a lot of the aspects of the mechanical side of the boating world. From preventive maintenance threw to full motor rebuilds. Trailer repairs from trailer lights to full brake kit installation, as well as boat wiring and accessory fitting. This is done to all brands of boats, outboards & trailers.
